Year 3: Publication
Dissertations and other materials submitted for review are generally accepted as being a publicly available contribution to knowledge. Following the approval of the award of a degree, the student will submit a PDF of the final dissertation within the publicly accessible repository of the Institute for research publications and other research outputs via this online here. The dissertation will also be submitted to the TT Dissertation portal of the SAR Research Catalogue. The Certificate of Award is issued upon submission. Students may request confidentiality for a period not exceeding 24 months with this here, after which a student may request continued restricted access on grounds of commercial or public sensitivity or security or to protect a source of information.
Dissertation format
The dissertation will contain the following information:
Cover: Student name as it will appear on the diploma and the title
Page 2:
Submitted to and accepted by the faculty of The San Francisco Institute for Creative Research in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Doctor of Philosophy, month and year
List Committee Members: Advisory Team, Chair, Reviewers,

Student's Legal Name

Apart from these requirements, students are free to design their dissertation according to what best communicates its contents, as long as it is readable (in consultation with the Advisory Team).
