Year 2: Complete Draft

This phase involves critical reading and writing, referencing the literature associated with the project and field, as well as lab and studio findings and outcomes. Students will continue to enrich and contextualize the project, engaging in elective course weekend sessions and engaging with the subject-specific aspects of their project and skills, such as presentation skills. Students receive feedback on their writing from their advisory team and continue meeting with their research cluster groups. At the conclusion, the chapter outline achieved at the previous stage transforms into a first draft of the Dissertation. Additionally, dissemination of the final project is addressed.

At the end of year two (or year 4, part-time), students attend a residency to present their research more fully, meet with their research clusters, and optionally attend workshops and seminars.
