Year 3: Dissertation

Analysis of research findings, conclusions, multiple drafts of the Dissertation, maintaining regular advisory team and cluster meetings, and awareness of the developing context of their project continues.

The team will select an external reviewer for the Dissertation, which will be submitted along with the viva voce. The student completes their final Dissertation, including final proofreading and polishing of its presentation.

During this phase, the student will be supported in taking on opportunities to present their work at symposia, conferences, and other venues, disseminating the results of their research.

With the support of their advisory team, the student will complete any revisions to their project after the dissertation review. Additionally, the team will review the project dissemination strategy and implement plans to ensure the potential impact of the research is achieved.

Once the external reviewers accept revisions, if any, the student will confirm plans for the viva voce and any related dissemination, i.e. demonstration, reading, screening, exhibition, seminar, launch, etc., including the Confirmation of Dissertation approval + residency presentation proposal forms here.
